La antigua carretera que lleva al vecino  Departamento  del  Tolima, siguiendo el trazado del mítico  Paso del Quindío,  nos  transporta a paisajes de grandes  cañones  cubiertos de  bosques,  unos de todo tipo de floras y otros de Palmas de Cera,  que cubren kilómetros de montaña. Hábitat de mamíferos y  gran cantidad de aves,  la historia de éste  camino es  la  historia  de  Colombia.  A bordo  de  un  Jeep Willys,  visitamos antiguas fincas,  cementerios indígenas,  palmares gigantescos, cañones indómitos, para llegar al Volcán Machín.
La  presencia  de  gigantes  estalacnitas,  humeantes  y misteriosas, cerca  de las  agua termales,  nos dice que  estamos  en su territorio, nos  deleita  con  sus  placenteros  parajes antes  de llegar al  domo, lugar  donde  el  cráter casi  bloqueado lo hace uno de los  volcanes mas peligrosos del planeta. El  recorrido  se hace  en  Jeep Willys,   con paradas  en los  lugares mas  representativos  por su  biología,  paisaje,  historia,  geología  o sus aguas termales.   La historia  de la  región y  del país  ha pasado a  pie  descalzo o  a  lomo de mula  por  éste  camino,  donde ahora podemos  nosotros  trasegar  y  ser  parte  de la nueva historia de un nuevo País.

El tour incluye: transporte vehicular, desayuno de ruta, parada en la finca La Carbonera, visita a los  bosques de Palma de Cera, visita al corregimiento de Toche, baño en aguas termales, visita a las formaciones geológicas, almuerzo rural, visita al domo. Todo el recorrido de la carretera tiene paisajes de bosque nublado, coníferas o áreas productivas.

The old road that leads to the neighboring Department of Tolima, following the route of the mythical Paso del Quindío, takes us to landscapes of large canyons covered with forests, some of all kinds of floras and others of Palmas de Cera, which cover miles of mountain. Habitat of mammals and large number of birds, the history of this way is the history of Colombia. On board a Jeep Willys, we visit old farms, indigenous cemeteries, giant palm trees, indomitable canyons, to reach Machin Volcano.
The presence of stalacnite giants, smoldering and mysterious, near the thermal water, tells us that we are in its territory, delights us with its pleasant places before arriving at the dome, place where the almost blocked crater makes it one of the most dangerous vulcanos of the planet.
The tour is done at Jeep Willys, with stops at places most representative of their biology, landscape, history, geology or its thermal waters. The history of the region and the country has passed walking barefoot or on the back of a mule on this road, where now we can digress and be part of the new history of a new country.

Tour includes: vehicular transportation, route breakfast, visit to "la Carbonera" farm, visit to the Waxpalm forests, visit to the village Toche, swimming in hot springs, visit to geological formations, rural lunch, visit to domo. All the road journeys is through landscapes as cloudy forests, coniferous forests or productive lands.
